How to Prep for Wedding Planning in 18 Months or Under
WIZARD WEDDING PLANNER STATUS

Congrats are in order, and also the long list of "TO DO". Where to begin? What to do first? Have you decided on a season? On an aesthetic/vibe? What do you want your wedding to feel like?
Let me help steer you in the right direction before you go down the WEDDING PLANNING TIK TOK Rabbit Hole
Tip #1 - DECIDE ON A BUDGET
Not as juicy and delicious as i'd like to begin this blog about LOL but it is absolutely NECESSARY.
Once you have a budget in mind, there is a plan of action. You execute and lead with this budget, planning, shopping and reaching out to venues and vendors will be more thought out and more effective becuase 1.- You have a realstic budget 2- You're not creating a budget based on the price and value of others. The budget topic is up to you and your future husband/wifey to be!
Tip #2 - BOOK THE VENUE- BOOK THE DATE
Most imporantly, have a plan for a phsycial location for your special day, this locks in a place, time, and most importantly a DATE ON CALENDAR.
"Plan like a boss, party like a bride."
Tip #3 - BOOK THE PHOTO/VIDEO/PHOTO BOOTH
We typically book our 18-24 months in advance, some weekends in busy season both of our teams are out all wekened long with double header weddings. Don't wait until too late in the season or last minute to book your Wedding Team. After the party is over, this is the only thing you'll have to remember this beautiful day! If you plan early you'll have fresh pickin's on your fave photo/video team (me duh!)
Tip #4 - BUY YOUR DRESS A MINIMUM OF 12 MONTHS BEFORE YOUR ACTUAL WEDDING DATE
Dresses are ordered from designers that are usualy overseas or just out of the country in general. Shipments take 4 months in some cases and alterations take just as long, plan good and give yourself time and grace.
Tip #5 - PLANNING A WEDDING CAN BE A BREEZE WITH THE RIGHT TEAM
Don't skip out on hiring help, you don't want to be facilitating timelines and or rounding guests up, and you can't rely on your MOH to do this for you on your wedding day, she loves you and should be able to celebrate you too! Hire someone who can be the coach for the day, plan the day, coordinate the day and execute it all to where if there is fire alarms that go off for any reason, you will never know! I have a list of Wedding Planner Refferals that will actually blow you away, reach out to me and i'd love to share my recs!
BUT SERIOUSLY..
Your wedding day is a once in a lifetime day, with proper planning, delegating and careful consideration just trust you will pull off the ultimate celebration that feels like YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND/WIFE, make sure it stays about you two, your love and your hearts desires. I am so happy for you, happy to help you and looking forward to serving you on this special day!
